Welcome

My goal is to meet clients where they are to establish trust and identify the issues that brought them to therapy. Therapy is an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, our relationships with others and the world. We will work together to examine the nature of your struggles and identify what behaviors you want to change. Life can be overwhelming as we navigate relationships and challenges that come along. Letting go of past events that still affect us can improve mood and reduce suffering. The client/therapist Relationship will be the foundation for the work that we do together.

I work with individuals struggling with adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, divorce, job-related stress and life transitions. I also teach effective Parenting Skills. My practice is built on Evidence-Based theoretical approaches. Depending on the needs of the client, I integrate CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, The Gottman Method and EMDR. My clinical practice is guided by the American Counseling Association Code of Ethics.
